ATKV Goudini Spa Day Care Centre
The Goudini Day Care Centre (Crèche) was created in 2003 partially funded through a contribution of the ATKV Dames chapters. Alice Maartens, chairperson of the ladies' committee presided at the opening ceremony.
The Day Care Centre comprises a number of rooms and a well-equipped play park. The main objective of the Day Care Centre is to provide affordable supervision and centre care for babies and toddlers if their parents work at the resort. Currently the centre is staffed by two full-time supervisors and the number of children varies between 15 and 20. It is particularly convenient for the parents because the centre is situated at the living quarters, facilitating easy access to the centre before work each morning.

ATKV Goudini Spa Soup Kitchen
Another project that has been running for about four years, is ATKV Goudini Spa's soup kitchen. Staff contributes a voluntary amount each month to provide the basic ingredients and equipment. The money is used to prepare weekly food parcels for indigent families among the staff component. Due to financial need and the size of families, there is a constant need for assistance. The food parcels contain various basic food groups to help a family cope for a week or more at a time.
ATKV Goudini Spa Library
Over the past 10 years the resort developed a library. Stock is provided through donations (many donations are from ATKV Dames chapters). Worcester Regional Library also contributes books that are written off at that library. Most of the books received are in a reasonably readable condition. The resort manager, Chris Hugo also allocates an annual amount to buy a few new books, puzzles, etc.
Initially the resort's children used the library extensively for school projects, but the availability of computer and electronic information resulted in a shift in emphasis to reading. The library set-up is comfortable with shelves, tables and chairs, a couch and educational posters. There are a number of loyal readers visiting the library regularly to return their books and take out new books. The objective of the library is to develop a love for reading.
